Embedded Software Engineer, Permanent, £40000 - £50000 per annum, 33 days leave, Enhanced Pension, BUPA Health care

Based in the East Midlands, our client is an internationally recognised transportation service provider. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to expand and develop their existing skills in embedded software development. You will join an established team where delivering high-performing solutions in a right-first-time environment is valued and rewarded.

Your responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer include:

  • Design, implement, and optimise embedded software solutions.
  • Targeting Linux, RTOS & bare metal platforms.
  • Participate in hardware/software co-design and system-level debugging.
  • Support FAT SAT & commissioning activities.
  • Lead smaller projects, collaborate on larger ones.
  • Adhere to safety and related standards.
  • Follow industry best practices while seeking opportunities for improvement.

Requirements as an Embedded Software Engineer include:

  • Computer Science or related degree.
  • 3+ years of practical and relevant experience in embedded systems development.
  • Experience with C/C++ full SDLC, STM32, Arm9, PIC platforms, Embedded Linux, RTOS, DotNet-core, CE 6.0 frameworks, and unit testing.

Location: Sutton in Ashfield. Start date: As soon as possible.

Hours: 37 hours, early finish on Friday. Benefits: 33 days leave, option to buy additional 5 days, enhanced pension, BUPA health care.
