Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with 6+ years industry experience to join their team in South Yorkshire.

This role requires you to work onsite 5 days a week.

Key Skills & Experience:

1. 5+ years experience with C/C++.
2. 5+ years experience with Embedded Linux.
3. Debugging Skills.
4. Object oriented design methods and tools.
5. JavaScript is a plus but not essential.

1. Conduct comprehensive research, design, development, and debugging of software solutions for both new and existing products and features.
2. Generate complete technical documentation for assigned projects and offer support for future design modifications as needed.
3. Guarantee adherence to all pertinent standards concerning safety, functionality, and performance in product designs and code.
4. Thoroughly test all new and updated code to ensure no regressions occur.
5. Actively participate in code and design reviews to maintain quality standards.
6. Investigate and resolve any issues within the code efficiently.
7. Provide continuous support to all stakeholders, including customers.
8. Utilize skills and expertise to mentor and develop team members.
