Join an industry-leading security consultancy as an Embedded Software Engineer, developing critical cybersecurity solutions for high-profile clients, including the UK's national cybersecurity. Based in Derbyshire, this role offers a unique chance to apply your engineering expertise to make a meaningful impact. You'll work on a variety of projects, pushing the boundaries of innovation in cybersecurity while contributing to real-world solutions that protect key infrastructure. Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant must be able to obtain DV Security Clearance.

Location: Derby office – due to the confidential nature of this role and associated projects, it is fully on-site.

Requirements for Embedded Software Engineer:

• Ideally, you will have at least 3 years of experience in a commercial C/C++ Embedded software role, although strong graduates with a year in industry will be considered.
• Strong design and coding skills.
• Keen interest in security (prior experience not required).
• Excellent understanding of requirements and ability to suggest solutions, given the consultancy nature of the role.
• Experience with the following technologies would be beneficial: C#, RUST, scripting languages, SQL, IP standards, network security.
• You must be eligible to obtain high-level security clearance (DV clearance), which generally requires having lived in the UK for the past 10 years, with no criminal record.
