Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer - Basingstoke - GBP(phone number removed)

A client of nGenium are looking for a skilled embedded software engineer to join a team focused on the development of wirelessly connected products.

Requirements:

1. Confidence developing software for microcontrollers, preferably ARM Cortex-M.
2. Experience programming in C.
3. Experience with schematics, PCB layouts, technical documentation.
4. Good logical problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work autonomously, under guidance of senior engineers, and as part of a small team.
6. A minimum of 5 years product development experience.
7. A passion to keep on learning new things.

Technical Skills:

1. Programming skills in a range of languages including C, C++, C#.
2. Experience in Graphical User Interface development.
3. Experience with source control systems like SVN and Git.
4. Experience in product security.
5. Knowledge of RF, and wireless communications.
6. Knowledge of IoT technologies and concepts.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing well written, maintainable, and reliable code.
2. Documenting your work, including specifications and manuals.
3. Peer code reviews.
4. Testing and supporting company products.
