Embedded Software Development Engineer - Ring

As an Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will be the technical lead in the team, advising your manager and senior management. Your work will involve both tactical and strategic tasks, including contributing to software architecture, dependencies, performance, and business value. You will solve complex software problems with scalable and extensible solutions.

You may also lead strategic initiatives on new sensors, algorithms evaluation, and development of specific tools as needed. We seek candidates passionate about IoT, responsive, and adaptable. The successful candidate will investigate, prototype, and deliver high-quality software in a dynamic, Agile/Scrum environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience leading architecture and design of systems, including reliability and scaling
• Experience in professional software development within the last 3 years
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
