Job summary

Rullion is recruiting for an Embedded Software Design Engineer to join the Mansfield team. You will design, develop and test embedded software for a range of electronics systems, ensuring quality, reliability and timely delivery.

The role requires significant embedded software experience, a relevant degree and strong problem-solving skills. Onsite location in Mansfield offers a comprehensive benefits package and career progression.

Qualifications

Significant experience in embedded software design/development in electronics/embedded systems.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, disciplined and innovative approach.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong customer and quality focus.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software for a range of electronics systems per project requirements.
Deliver robust, cost-effective software to customer deadlines.
Ensure designs meet industry, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Apply and improve embedded software development best practice.
Support fault analysis, testing, commissioning and problem solving.
Conduct and support unit, integration, FAT and site testing.
Follow change control and version control processes.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet objectives.
Report issues to the Engineering Manager.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within cost and quality.
