Job Title: Embedded Risk Team Member for TDI GTI

Location: Birmingham

The Risk & Controls function at Deutsche Bank, within Group Technology Infrastructure (GTI), supports the organization by providing guidance, challenging the status quo, and ensuring secure and resilient systems. In this role, you will collaborate with Group Architecture to contribute to risk remediation and operational resilience activities, driving risk reduction in line with GTI strategy and TDI objectives.

Your key responsibilities
  • Manage and drive remediation of findings related to core data points and risk processes in collaboration with GTI teams
  • Provide technology risk expertise related to Deutsche Bank’s technology landscape
  • Support risk landscape and cultural shifts within GTI to identify and implement improvements
  • Ensure execution of Book of Work and adherence to Risk and Governance methodologies, including audit findings and Self-Identified Issues
  • Build and leverage productive networks to promote best solutions and facilitate effective escalation
  • Challenge existing practices and support continuous improvement
Your skills and experience
  • Experience in roles with similar complexity, including within technology, banking tech, or IT audit, with a focus on risk and control
  • Deep understanding of industry risk landscape, regulatory expectations, and best practices like NIST, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001
  • Knowledge of project management, change management, or quality management with influencing skills
  • Growth mindset, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural leadership abilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning, results-oriented, and capable of delivering under tight timelines
