Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with a background in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline to tackle aerospace and defense challenges. You'll work on embedded, RF, and automated test systems, applying C, C++, or Python to real-world hardware‑software integration.

Join a multi-disciplinary team spanning software, electronics, RF, and hardware verification, with opportunities to contribute across Loveland and Malaga sites,

Qualifications

5+ years in a relevant field.
Proficient in C/C++, C#, Python; familiar with at least two.
Embedded or real-time software experience.
Hardware-software integration and system verification.
RF signals and systems knowledge.
Windows development environments and Git version control.

Responsibilities

Solve complex technical problems in embedded, RF and automated test systems.
Collaborate across software, electronics, RF interfacing and measurements.
Contribute to design, verification, and delivery of high‑performance test solutions.
Support customer programs delivering mission-critical systems.
