Job summary

SoCode Recruitment in Cambridge is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help develop a new generation of safety-critical electronic control units. You’ll join early to make an impact across technology, processes and products within a globally backed engineering group.

You’ll develop safety-critical embedded software, collaborate with software, systems and hardware teams, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, security and cybersecurity processes as part of a hands-on role.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing embedded software for safety-critical environments.
  • Strong C for safety-critical embedded applications.
  • Experience with real-time programming.
  • AUTOSAR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for prototype and production systems.
  • Work across requirements, software architecture, detailed design, implementation, unit testing, integration and validation.
  • Develop high-quality embedded C software for real-time applications.
  • Perform software validation through simulation, on-target testing, bench testing, HIL and within the final system.
  • Collaborate with software, systems and hardware engineers across the wider organisation.
