Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment, Liverpool, is seeking a Test Analyst for a temporary engagement through Yoh Services. Based onsite for at least 12 months, you will join PlayStation Studios QA to support development partners with testing across the project lifecycle.

You will embed with the development team, own test activities, and apply advanced techniques and automation to influence feature-level testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the game development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing terminology and concepts.
• Proactive and able to communicate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support development partners with Grey Box testing; use development tools and game engine.
• Be an embedded member of the development team, build relationships and work closely with our development partners.
• Own, lead & delegate tasks within your assigned feature area.
• Use advanced test techniques, tools and automation.
• Input into & influence feature level testing strategy.
• Escalate risks & challenges to our partners and QA Test Leads.
• Document & share project information from studio partners to test team.
• Ensure best practice, processes and procedures are followed and adhere to them.
• Collaborate with colleagues across other projects to share information and best practices.
• Support a positive and inclusive environment across teams, studios & vendor partners.
