Remote working - Outside IR35 - Long-term contract - Embedded Linux Developer

One of my longest standing clients is looking to hire several embedded software developers to support with developing custom Linux Kernel Drivers to go on to proprietary SoC’s. They are seeking engineers with experience in driver development (peripheral communications, hardware communications, audio, etc), familiarity with different parts of the Linux Kernel, and preferably someone interested in upstreaming into the open-source community.

This is a full remote working contract, initially for 6 months with potential extension up to 2-3 years.

Key Points:

• Extensive knowledge of Platform and non-Platform drivers
• Yocto (Scarthgap/Dunfell preferred)
• Full remote
• Outside IR35 (for UK-based contractors)
