Remote working - Outside IR35 - Long-term contract - Embedded Linux Developer

One of my longstanding clients is looking to hire several embedded software developers to support the development of custom Linux Kernel Drivers for proprietary SoC devices. They seek engineers experienced in driver development (peripheral communication, hardware interaction, audio, etc.), with knowledge of various parts of the Linux Kernel. Preference will be given to candidates interested in upstreaming contributions to the open-source community.

This is a fully remote contract initially lasting 6 months, with potential extension up to 2-3 years.

Key Points:

1. Extensive knowledge of Platform and non-Platform drivers
2. Experience with Yocto (preferably Scarthgap/Dunfell)
3. Full remote working setup
4. Outside IR35 (applicable for UK contractors)
