Remote working - Outside IR35 - Long-term contract - Embedded Linux Developer

One of our longstanding clients is hiring several embedded software developers to develop custom Linux Kernel Drivers for proprietary SoC platforms. Candidates should have experience in driver development (peripheral communication, hardware communication, audio, etc.), familiarity with various parts of the Linux Kernel, and an interest in upstreaming contributions to the open-source community.

This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity initially lasting 6 months, with potential extension up to 2-3 years.

Key Points:

• Extensive knowledge of Platform and non-Platform drivers
• Experience with Yocto (Scarthgap/Dunfell preferred)
• Remote work setup
• Outside IR35 (for UK-based contractors)
