Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking an Embedded Electronics & Firmware Engineer in East Sussex to join a growing engineering team. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle of life safety products, from concept through to production, within a collaborative R&D environment.

Responsibilities include designing analogue/digital circuits, developing Embedded C firmware, and supporting lifecycle management. Some CAD-driven mechanical design work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded electronics product development.
• Strong embedded firmware development experience (Embedded C).
• Analogue and digital electronics design experience.
• PCB design and schematic capture experience.
• Experience managing component lifecycles and obsolescence.
• Some exposure to mechanical design/CAD.
