Job Description:

Up to £65,000

This role is based in North Hertfordshire, with a broad commuting range. The Embedded Electronics Design Engineer will be working with a global organisation focusing on the development of smart tech / IoT and Wireless.

Responsibilities:

1. Working on a range of Embedded Electronic Designs (PIC, Microchip, Baremetal) with hands-on work on a wide range of state-of-the-art products mainly focusing on IoT.
2. New product development involving full product development from conception, specification, and design of prototypes through to manufacture.
3. Feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
4. Researching new techniques and technologies to enhance the company’s product line.
5. Assisting in the design of appropriate tests.
6. Production support.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, along with a proven background in Electronics Design, including:

1. Embedded development with a wide range of microcontrollers.
2. Electronics knowledge, including PCB design for schematics.
