Job summary

MRSL Group in Berkshire is seeking an Electronics Design & Applications Engineer to join our embedded and display technologies team. You will design hardware, work on embedded systems, and support customers across multiple industries from concept to implementation.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in electronics, strong PCB/schematic skills, experience with Altium/KiCad/OrCAD, and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent with relevant industry experience.
• 2–5 years in electronics, embedded systems, or related engineering.
• Strong circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout and hardware debugging.
• Experience with PCB design tools: Altium, KiCad, OrCAD.
• Ability to fault-find at component level using lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic schematics and PCB layouts for embedded systems.
• Create BOMs and technical documentation.
• Assemble, test, and debug prototype hardware.
• Develop hardware with embedded systems and display tech.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Build demonstration units and evaluation platforms.
• Coordinate with Sales to translate requirements into solutions.
• Manage projects from concept to delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and BOMs.
• Support compliance and continuous improvement.
