Job summary

weServed in Bristol is seeking an Electronic and Communication Engineering Degree Apprentice to join the Embedded Electronic Systems Design and Development Engineer Degree Apprenticeship programme, starting September 2027. You’ll study while contributing to defence projects and earning a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Computer Engineering.

You’ll rotate across design, software, mechanical and electrical teams, gain hands-on experience on live projects, and progress through the apprentice

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English and a science/engineering subject.
• 3 A Levels at grade C or above, including Maths and two other science/engineering subjects, or 90+ credits in an Engineering BTEC.

Responsibilities

• Support defence projects while completing the 6-year degree apprenticeship.
• Develop and support embedded electronic systems design and development activities.
• Collaborate with design, software, mechanical and electrical engineering teams across multiple sites.
