About the role
As an Electronics Embedded Design Engineer, you will be comfortable working in a small team whilst taking ownership over the design of the electronics. You will:

  • Be involved throughout the entire product life cycle from initial concepts to full product realisation
  • Work with all members of the team and product management
  • Help to develop the latest innovative small, bodily worn products which are cloud connected to aid health risk measurement

About you
To be successful for the role of Electronics Embedded Design Engineer, you must be / have:

  • Degree in electronics engineering (or similar with additional relevant experience)
  • Ideally 5 years robust hands-on experience designing analogue & embedded electronic circuits, including interfacing to sensors
  • Design of efficient PSU’s (including SMPS) for battery powered products
  • Collaborating with team members to agree/produce product specifications
  • Schematic capture & ability to review PCB layouts
  • Experience with various Battery technologies & charging (wired & wireless) requirements/circuit design
  • Knowledge of firmware development & embedded microprocessor coding
  • Ability to carry out or support compliance testing, including testing to product standards
  • Experience of Visual Studio (C#, VB, etc.)
  • PCB layout experience
  • Experience with designing intrinsically safe circuits
