Job summary

Jigsaw is seeking an embedded data privacy advisor to support product development and customer-facing teams. This fractional role starts at roughly 1-2 days a week in-office, collaborating closely with our Legal team to translate legal and technical complexity into practical, commercially-focused responses.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK & US privacy laws incl GDPR, UK DPA, and CCPA.
• Experience in live commercial context, not just theory.
• Experience with cross-border data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as go-to data privacy expert across product, customer rollout, and migration conversations.
• Translate customer contract terms into practical, commercial recommendations with risk-based judgments.
• Advise on cross-border and international data transfers.
• Join customer calls to speak credibly with clients' privacy counsel.
• Translate complex legal/technical concepts for non-legal internal teams.
• Foster a genuine privacy-by-design culture early in projects.
• Identify improvements to templates, playbooks, and processes.
