Job summary

Deep Sea Electronics Ltd (DSE) is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to bolster cybersecurity for their products within the power generation domain. The ideal candidate will develop cybersecurity strategies and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with engineering and operational teams.

The role encompasses risk assessment, vulnerability assessments, and active support in incident response, alongside compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity development processes and risk assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of encryption, key storage, secure boot, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with RED and Cyber Resilience Act regulations.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards R155, R156, and ISO 21434.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Ability to contribute to cyber risk analysis and mitigation activities.
• Background in embedded systems cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cybersecurity strategy and policies for products.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations like the EU CRA.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives in product roadmaps.
• Assist with cybersecurity risk identification and mitigation.
• Prepare documentation for compliance with IEC 62443.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for security integration.
• Support vulnerability assessments and threat modeling.
• Engage with customers and regulatory bodies on security.
