I am hiring a Junior Embedded Cyber Security Engineer on behalf of a company specialising in designing and manufacturing embedded technology for the automotive industry. The company produces speakers, antennas, and connectivity systems, serving major car manufacturers worldwide. With a focus on innovation and high-quality engineering, they integrate advanced technologies to enhance in-car audio and communication experiences. The company operates globally, with key production facilities in Europe and Asia, emphasising sustainability and customer satisfaction in its operations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating on cross-project initiatives to develop and implement cybersecurity concepts for embedded technologies.
• Assisting development teams in executing IT security strategies.
• Assessing requirements and establishing security standards for software development.
• Conducting code reviews and implementing quality assurance measures.
• Identifying and analysing errors, then determining corrective and preventive actions.

This role is hybrid three days a week in Bavaria.

Essential:

• Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security
• Software development experience
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Knowledge of cyber security
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• C1 German and fluent English

Desirable:

• Technical knowledge of vulnerability management and automotive security.
