Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation seeks an Embedded C Software Engineer to deliver safety-critical real-time software for missile systems in Stevenage. You will implement and test software across the full lifecycle, working onsite with potential four-day week options and a 37-hour week.

Experience with embedded C/C++, DO-178C/DOORS, LDRA/RAPITA and lab equipment will be essential. The role is for an initial 6-month contract with potential long-term extension and Inside IR35 (Umbrella).

Qualifications

• Ability to debug complex problems and produce required safety documentation.
• Authoring specifications through the full lifecycle: planning, design and test documents.
• Requirements analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the on-board software for the next missile system; architect, design, implement and test.
• Work across the full software lifecycle in safety-critical real-time environments.
