Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking multiple embedded C++ engineers from mid-level to senior level for roles in the Guildford area. To apply you MUST HAVE 2 years+ experience and demonstrate strong coding in C++/C/STL on embedded platforms.

Responsibilities include writing and maintaining C in embedded systems, planning architectures, reviewing designs, and occasional production support. Desirable skills include OrCAD, MATLAB, Verilog, and familiarity with STM32 ARM devices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded C/C++ experience
• Proficient in object-oriented design and C/C++/STL
• Able to pass a C++ technical test
• Familiar with STM32 ARM devices
• Strong electronics knowledge (digital and analogue)

• Write and maintain C within an embedded platform
• Plan and design embedded platform architectures
• Review and prove embedded designs
• Production support (testing and procedures)

Job description

My client is looking to hire multiple embedded C++ engineers from mid-level to senior level; to apply you MUST HAVE 2 years + experience.

Experience engineers will need:

• Able to demonstrate some capability in object-oriented design and coding in C++/C/STL
• Able to conduct a C++ technical test
• OrCAD/Cadence PSpice
• MATLAB
• Verilog (Quartus)
• Familiarity with the STM32 ARM family of devices
• A thorough understanding of electronics, both digital and analogue

The following areas would be desirable but are not essential:

• Experience with high-speed data acquisition
• Experience with practical instrumentation (sensors etc)
• Familiarity with the FPGA design process
• Familiarity with Ethernet protocol

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Writing and maintaining C within an embedded platform
• Planning and designing embedded platform architectures
• Reviewing and proving embedded designs

Secondary responsibilities may include:

• Production Support (testing and procedures)
