Job summary

Spectrum IT in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a Software Engineer (Embedded Systems) to join a UK technology manufacturer. The role focuses on C/C++ embedded software development, Linux, and SQL within a full product development lifecycle.

You will contribute from concept through to release and ongoing improvement, across new product development and existing technologies, with hands-on responsibilities in a collaborative Product Design team.

• Commercial embedded software development experience
• Strong C and C++ skills

Responsibilities

• Involvement across the full product development lifecycle from concepts through to testing, release and ongoing enhancement
• Work on a mix of new product development and existing technologies, seeing work progress from development to real-world use
