About the Role

HTC VIVE is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Email & CRM Marketing Automation Manager to bolster our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the maestro behind our Marketo system, crafting compelling email campaigns and ensuring seamless data transfer between our marketing and sales platforms.

As we strive to perfect our connection with our customer base, your expertise in creating engaging email content, structuring workflows, and liaising with Salesforce will be essential. Collaborating closely with our sales and marketing divisions, you'll be a lynchpin in synchronizing our marketing automation efforts with our sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of email marketing campaigns in Marketo, including content creation, segmentation, testing, and optimization.
  • Ensure seamless data capture from Marketo forms and integrate them flawlessly with Salesforce, passing on relevant information to sales managers.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure email content is compelling, relevant, and aligned with our brand voice and objectives.
  • Develop and manage a calendar for email marketing campaigns, considering the customer journey and segmentation.
  • Regularly analyse and report on email campaign performance, recommending improvements and adjustments based on KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of email marketing best practices and industry trends, incorporating insights into our strategies.
  • Liaise closely with the sales team to ensure leads generated are effectively managed and nurtured within Salesforce.
  • Set up and manage automated lead nurturing workflows within Marketo to optimise conversion rates and engagement.
  • Continuously test and optimise email elements, including subject lines, content, and CTAs to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in email marketing and marketing automation, with hands-on expertise in Marketo.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design customization.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce, MQLs, SQLs and the sales stages.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling email content.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with extracting and interpreting data to inform strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work across functions.
  • Familiarity with best practices in email deliverability and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing and optimizing email campaigns for maximum performance.

Nice to have but not essential

  • Experience working with international or multilingual campaigns.
  • Passion for virtual reality, immersive technologies, and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Previous work in a tech or virtual reality company is a plus.
  • Familiarity with additional marketing automation platforms beyond Marketo.
