Job Description:

Eltek Systems is looking to recruit a Senior Control Systems Software Engineer to join our expanding team. The role involves project delivery primarily within the Food & Beverage industries. The ideal candidate will have experience working on project delivery for a Systems Integrator.

We are a control and automation systems integrator operating internationally with a turnover of £9M in the UK and over 40 employees. We are part of Vinci Energies, a £12.5 billion organization.

Package up to circa £60k: (Competitive Salary + Bonus + Pension + Electric Vehicle Car Scheme + Share Scheme)

The Role

• Participate in the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Create design and test documentation.
• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software.
• Conduct testing with customers.
• Perform on-site commissioning.
• Prepare training manuals and conduct customer training sessions.

The Person

• Intermediate experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or other major PLC and SCADA/HMI platforms, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Several years of experience in software development and project delivery with customers.
• Good understanding of industrial network setup, commissioning, and fault finding (EthernetIP, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet) preferred but not essential.
• Experience working in an engineering environment.
• Creative problem solver who pushes boundaries.
• Highly motivated, organized, and flexible.
• Positive, personable, and a team player.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
