Role: Project Manager

Location: Oundle, Peterborough

About the role

Due to business growth and client demand, Eltek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding team.

As a Project Manager for Eltek, you will oversee automation projects from conception to completion.

This role involves international travel, primarily around the world, accounting for about 30% of your working year.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and closing of automation projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and monitor progress against milestones for timely delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to update on project status, resolve issues, and address concerns promptly.
• Negotiate pricing, work rework, or variations.
• Coordinate resources, including internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors, to meet project goals efficiently.

The Person:

• Proven experience managing automation projects in industrial environments, with a solid understanding of automation technologies and systems.
• Ability to understand and produce control system design documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
• Knowledge of industrial hardware systems, including control panel design and hardware.
