Actemium Automation Eltek is seeking a talented Hardware Design Manager to lead our hardware engineering team in developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

About the role

As the Hardware Design Manager at Actemium Automation Eltek, you will lead a team of hardware engineers in the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware components for automation systems.

From concept to production, you will oversee the entire hardware design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the hardware design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and clients, to define hardware requirements and specifications for automation projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications through effective task and process management.
• Drive improvements in Quality Systems and Standards within the department, ensuring consistent application of the Quality System.
• Coordinate resources within the team to support project needs and resolve work priority issues.

The Person

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• High proficiency in understanding and producing control system design documents.
• Experience in hardware design, including leadership or managerial roles.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as IPC, UL, and CE.
• Qualified to HNC / HND / Degree level in a relevant discipline.
