Job description

The ELP Warehouse Technician will assist in the smooth running of the ELP warehouse and support the operational side of ELP as a whole, helping the team meet d&b solutions standards. This role involves maintenance and preparation of ELP Broadcast equipment, managing dispatch and returns, and includes equipment delivery and collection driving. ELP Broadcast is a division of d&b solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. The preparation and maintenance of ELP equipment.
  2. Assist in preparing kits and managing equipment on and off the hiring system.
  3. Report damaged or missing items returned from hires.
  4. Assist in pre-rigging ELP department jobs.
  5. Maintain a tidy working environment.
  6. Open and close the warehouse, with relevant responsibilities.
  7. Keep paperwork updated (Picking Lists, X-Hire PO’s).
  8. Follow correct procedures and policies laid out by d&b solutions.
  9. Perform physical/manual work and utilize standard IT packages (Word, Outlook, Windows).

The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude, be organized, and maintain a tidy work approach.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of internal email systems and electronic diaries.
  • Experience with Broadcast and Events equipment and maintenance.
  • Previous workshop or operational experience.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interest in Broadcast and Events equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience with prepping equipment, Hire, and X-Hire procedures is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies.
  • Valid driving license for a van up to 3.5T.
