Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a dedicated Garage/Tire Technician to lead tire preparation, management, and equipment maintenance for race weekends. You will ensure race-ready tires, wheels, and tools, upholding FIA regulations and team procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires technical automotive certification or diploma and proven experience at Formula 1 or elite motorsport, with strong problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent teamwork under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience as Tire Technician in Formula 1 or elite motorsport.
• Tyre preparation, management, wheel and tyre assembly.
• Strong knowledge of automotive tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting under pressure.
• Attention to detail and high standards in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist tire support during events: tire prep, management, assembly, balancing, fitting, handling, and monitoring tire condition.
• Prepare the garage area for race events and maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair tools and equipment to safety and performance standards.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; reorder as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed; conduct regular safety checks and report hazards.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory; document issues.
• Support the race team during events by assisting with pit stops and troubleshooting tire issues.
