Job summary

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team seeks a Senior Tyre Technician to lead tyre-related operations at factory, test, and race events at Silverstone. You will oversee preparation, handling, fitting, removal, storage and tracking of tyres, working closely with Race Team, Engineering and Mechanics to meet strict championship regulations.

The role demands exceptional attention to detail, safety, and the ability to perform under high pressure in a performance-driven motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as tyre technician in Formula One or high-performance motorsport.
• Strong knowledge of tyre preparation, fitting, removal and tracking procedures.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all tyre-related activities at race and test events, including preparation, fitting, removal, allocation, storage and tracking, ensuring regulations compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Mechanics and Race Team to deliver tyre requirements accurately and efficiently per event schedule.
• Ensure all tyre equipment and materials are prepared, maintained and ready for use; support garage builds and factory maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment; ensure tyre operations meet H&S requirements and report issues promptly.
• Take ownership of tyre operations, resolve operational challenges, and drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
• Travel to race and test events as required and support wider Race Team operations.
