A leading educational institution in Charnwood seeks a Lecturer to teach elite sport learners. The role involves developing curriculum and assessment strategies, delivering courses both online and in-person, and monitoring learner progress to ensure academic success. Candidates should have a relevant degree, a teaching qualification, and experience in elite sports environments. A valid driving licence is required for offsite work. Loughborough College’s Elite Sport department is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L4 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach and support elite sport learners. This will include developing both the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support learners progressing through sport talent pathways. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed, both through face to face and online delivery. Learner progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

As part of this role, there will be a requirement to work both at Loughborough College and other offsite locations. The successful candidate would have a full, valid driving licence and the ability to travel to offsite locations for work.
