Taylor Root Dusseldorf is seeking a Private Equity Associate (1-5 PQE) to join the London office of a leading US law firm. The role covers platform acquisitions, complex carve-outs, take-private transactions, growth investments and co-investments, with cross-border exposure and high-value mandates.

You will work with top partners, enjoy a lean team structure, and gain responsibility across the investment lifecycle, with a client base focused on leading private equity sponsors and multinational

Qualifications

• 1-5 years’ post-qualification experience in private equity or leveraged buyouts.
• Background from an elite US, Magic Circle or leading international firm.
• Solid experience advising on cross-border transactions, particularly sponsor-side.
• Strong technical ability and first-class drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on private equity mandates including platform acquisitions, complex carve-outs and take-private transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across international offices and practice areas to manage deals from start to finish.
• Provide client-ready drafting and execution support across the investment lifecycle.
