Job summary

Barclays Jersey is offering a Summer Internship Programme in Private Bank & Wealth Management. You will participate in real projects, gain exposure to private banking and wealth management, and work under a mentor and line manager during a 10-week programme.

Ideal candidates are penultimate-year students with interest in business and finance, who are resourceful, collaborative and entrepreneurial. Barclays supports immigration/work requirements for Jersey where applicable.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of degree in any discipline.
• Keen interest in business and finance and a curiosity to learn.
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, showcased through extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed research projects and supporting strategic decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and memoranda to communicate findings to senior management.
• Support onboarding and due diligence for private banking and wealth management clients.
