Job summary

Langshott Manor Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, is seeking a cheerful, energetic Kitchen Porter to support the Chefs and maintain a clean, well-presented kitchen environment. You will assist with general cleaning, dishwashing, ensuring hot plates, and maintaining high hygiene standards to enhance guest experience.

Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, with hours between 9am and 11pm. No formal qualifications required, but a good standard of English and energy are essential.

Qualifications

• Good eye for detail.
• Energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced volume environment.
• Previous employment in a food service business helpful.

Responsibilities

• Completing general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Operating the dishwasher to ensure all cutlery and crockery are cleaned and ready for service.
• Refilling the hot plate for each dining session to ensure guests get hot food.
• Deep cleaning tasks as outlined on the kitchen's cleaning schedule.
• Maintaining exceptional kitchen hygiene standards throughout duties.
• Assisting with basic food preparation and handling.
• Ensuring safe, clean outside spaces and proper waste disposal.
