Job summary

Aira is seeking experienced domestic heating installers to join our Clean Energy Technician team. You’ll lead heat pump installations and deliver exceptional customer service, training at the Aira Academy for professional growth across the UK.

Ideal candidates have boiler or heat pump installation experience and relevant gas, plumbing, and safety qualifications, with a path to becoming elite Heat Pump Engineers in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent) required.
• Gas Qualifications / Gas Safe registered.
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) would be good.
• WRAS qualifications (water regs) would be good.
• Gas qualifications would be good.
• Unvented hot water systems (part G) would be good.
• Level 3 heat pump system design would be good.
• F-Gas Category 1 would be good.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Installations of heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators as part of Aira projects.
• Work with designers to ensure efficient, reliable systems with proper surveys and diagrams.
• Train at the Aira Academy for development and growth as a Heat Pump Engineer.

Education

NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)

Gas Safe registered

NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)

WRAS Qualifications (water regs)

Unvented hot water systems (part G)
