The Hurlingham Club in London seeks a Groundsperson to maintain its prestigious grounds including croquet lawns, tennis courts, a cricket ground and a golf course. The role is a 39-hour week with regular weekend work, and duties include turf maintenance, pest control, setting out sports areas and operating turf equipment.

Candidates should have hands-on grounds experience, an eye for detail, and be able to work under pressure.

Formación

• Previous grounds or turf experience and preparing cricket pitches would be advantageous.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail; friendly, polite and diplomatic.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake general turf and grounds duties.
• Report and treat common pests, fungi and diseases.
• Set out sports areas.
• Operate handmowers and other turf related machinery.
• Help with other Grounds related duties as allocated.
