Job summary

DCS Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Skilled CNC Machinist in Burnley for a full-time, permanent role. The candidate will set and operate CNC machines, program using Fanuc/Okuma/Mazak controls, and machine stainless-steel components to tight tolerances.

The role requires flexibility to work day, twilight, and night shifts and to load materials and interpret drawings. Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ hands-on CNC experience and strong setting, operating, and programming skills,

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on CNC experience.
• Proven CNC setting, operating and programming ability.
• Experience with Fanuc, Okuma or Mazak controls.
• Experience machining stainless steel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machines to manufacture components to drawings.
• Set tools, fixtures and machine offsets.
• Load materials onto CNC machines.
• Program and adjust machines using Fanuc, Okuma or Mazak controls.
• Machine stainless-steel components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Measure finished parts with inspection equipment.
• Maintain quality records and traceability.
• Identify process improvements and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
