Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited are recruiting an Electronics Work Package Manager for a defence project in Cheadle, Manchester. Initial onsite work with a move to hybrid working (3 days on site, 2 days from home) once settled.

You will manage complex electronic sub-systems from concept to production, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. UK MOD security clearance to SC level is required prior to start.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering development of complex firmware or electronic units.
• Knowledge of PM best practices: Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management and Earned Value Management.
• Proven ability of delivering significant project/programmes on time and to cost.
• Proven ability of project management across phases from conception to production and delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex and priority projects to time, cost and quality to drive design, development and delivery of electronic sub-systems.
• Oversee from concept through into full production, coordinating cross-functional teams.
