Job summary

Gold Group is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer in Rugeley to perform fault finding, testing and demonstration of electrical and electronic equipment used across MOD and commercial applications. The role collaborates with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues and ensure products meet quality, performance and safety standards.

You will develop test fixtures and procedures, produce accurate test records, and travel occasionally to UK and overseas locations for testing and customer

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/electronic testing.
• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team.
• Proactive fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems.
• Awareness of ESD requirements.
• Understanding of 5S and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Test electrical and electronic assemblies and equipment to MOD and commercial standards.
• Carry out fault finding, investigation and rectification of issues.
• Develop test fixtures, rigs and procedures in collaboration with Engineering.
• Produce accurate documentary evidence and test records.
• Travel occasionally to UK and overseas locations for testing and customer activities.
