Job summary

Proactive Global in Langley is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of imaging and embedded technology products. You will test, fault-find, repair, and support prototype and production activities.

The ideal candidate has electronics qualification and proven PCB testing/SMT rework experience, and can read circuit diagrams. The role offers up to £42,000 plus benefits, and a pension, life assurance, profit share, and employee share scheme.

Qualifications

• Electronics qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience with component-level fault finding.
• Strong PCB testing and repair experience.
• Experience with SMT soldering and rework.
• Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, fault-find, and repair electronic products

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Test Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of imaging and embedded technology products in Langley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electronics professional to join a growing engineering environment, where you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, repairing, and supporting both prototype and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, fault-find, and repair electronic products
• Carry out component-level fault finding on PCBs and electronic assemblies
• Perform PCB testing, repair, SMT soldering, and rework
• Assemble and test electro-mechanical units
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment
• Support prototype development and production activities
