Electronics Technician - St. Neots - salary up to £31,5000

Working for a world leader within the aerospace manufacturing industry the Electronics Technician will assemble and test products including electrical sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC level or above in a relevant subject and will have experience working within electronic manufacture. If this sounds like you apply today.

  • Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm Friday

Duties:

  • Carry out assembly and product testing completing the relevant test documentation
  • Perform fault diagnostics on both final assemblies and lower levels, while working with engineers from the test and engineering departments.
  • Conduct root cause investigations, providing analysis and recommendations.
  • Analyze test data and generate test reports.
  • Ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and within calibration schedules.
  • Read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements including sub-assemblies
  • Perform soldering to IPC standards.
  • Promote and support continuous improvements and assist with A3, 8D and other process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A HNC or above in a relevant subject is required
  • Must have experience of working with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test equipment).
  • Experience of working within the Electronics Manufacturing industry is necessary
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, varied, and demanding environment
  • Proficient in microsoft office applications
  • Good communication and teamworking skills are required
