Job summary
Graphcore, a leading AI compute company, is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to connect engineering intent with supply chain execution. You will source, negotiate and expedite electrical components for NPI and production, manage POs, supplier performance, BOM costs and cost reporting, and qualify new suppliers to reduce lead times.
You will collaborate across engineering, procurement and operations to optimise cost, risk and delivery, shaping the resilience of Graphcore’s manufacturing
Qualifications
- Strong electronics background with EE component sourcing experience.
- Degree or equivalent in engineering/technical subject.
- Experience budgeting and cost control in complex environments.
- Advanced cost management and PPV tracking knowledge.
- Experience with multi-layer BOMs and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate and expedite components to meet build plans.
- Own purchase orders, supplier performance and cost reporting.
- Qualify new suppliers and reduce lead times.
- Support manufacturing subcontract supply chain.
- Translate engineering intent into supply chain actions.
