Job summary

Leisure Electronics is an established and rapidly growing business servicing electronic equipment for the leisure and gaming industry across the UK. Technicians diagnose faults and repair a wide variety of devices in a friendly, supportive environment, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

The role is based in Hull, Monday to Friday 8:30–5:00, offering a competitive hourly rate (£13–£14.50) and a permanent full-time position with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing electronic equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with Windows and/or Android devices.
• Confidence dismantling and rebuilding electronic equipment.
• Good soldering skills.
• Understanding of electronic circuits and components.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience repairing gaming, amusement or payment equipment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing electronic and hardware faults.
• Repairing Windows and Android tablets.
• Repairing printers, monitors and gaming equipment.
• Component-level repairs where appropriate.
• Soldering and replacing electronic components.
• Testing repaired equipment before dispatch.
• Recording repairs accurately using internal systems.
• Helping maintain high workshop standards.
• Identifying recurring faults and suggesting improvements.
