Job summary

Deep Sea Electronics Ltd is seeking an Electronic Repair Manager to lead the repair team, oversee day-to-day production repair activities and warranty returns. You will diagnose and repair electronic unit failures, drive root cause analysis, and implement improvements to product quality and reliability, working across hardware, firmware and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with microcontroller-based designs and embedded systems.
• Proven ability in structured root cause analysis methodologies.
• Experience debugging hardware and firmware interactions.
• Ability to interpret circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead the repair team and oversee day-to-day production repair activities.
• Diagnose and repair electronic unit failures across hardware, firmware, and customer systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Utilise test equipment to isolate issues and document findings.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, quality and support teams.
• Provide technical direction and KPI reporting.
