Job summary

DCA Design International Limited in Warwick is seeking electronics students for a 6–12 month industrial placement starting 2027. You will join the team to work on requirements, feasibility studies, testing, hardware design, prototyping and system integration.

You will get up to speed with CAD tools and receive mentorship while taking responsibility on real client projects. The placement complements studies and offers broad exposure to electronics design engineering.

Qualifications

• Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude.
• Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronic design principles.
• Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and microcontroller-based systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic soldering and practical electronics prototyping skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements definition, feasibility studies and testing.
• Contribute to hardware design, prototyping and debugging.
• Support system integration with other disciplines.
• Work with a mentor and gain hands-on experience on real client projects.
