Electronics Operative/Technician

Salary: £25,065
Location: Andover
Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent



Our market leading client is seeking a proactive and reliable Electronics Operative to work in their modern newly opened and developed Clean room. You will be working with cutting edge equipment to

support the production of advanced electronic solutions for high reliability industries including aerospace, medical and defence.

Operative Responsibilities:

  • You will need to demonstrate a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to handle various tolls and equipment within the clean room
  • Set-up, operate and safely shut down items of the clean room manufacturing equipment
  • Assemble die bonded and wire bonded microelectronic assemblies to specification
  • Monitor and measure product quality
  • Maintain accurate, clear and retrievable records of monitored production processes
  • Identify issues with process and product quality
  • Ensure key equipment remains operational by working with the maintenance team
  • Work with microelectronics engineers to help develop manufacturing process
  • Stock management


Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment, ideally within electronics/Laboratory industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Clean room experienced is preferred
  • Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be an advantage
  • Experience of working in electronics or an industry qualification would be beneficial
