A leading design and manufacturing company in Plymouth is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to enhance their team. This role involves overseeing the development of electronic assemblies and managing costs while supporting engineering efforts. Ideal candidates should have experience in Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of Aerospace and Defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCBA cleaning and conformal coating is essential.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is a must.
• Aerospace & Defence experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and first-build of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Support engineering with manufacturability of new designs and technology development.
• Manage product costs from development through to production.
• Participate in MRB process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

My client is a leading design and manufacturing company specialising in power supplies and associated electronics systems for the Defence and Aerospace industries. They are currently looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join their team based in Plymouth.

Key responsibilities of the Electronics Manufacturing Engineer include:

• Overseeing development and first-build of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Supporting engineering with manufacturability of new designs and technology development
• Managing product costs from development through to production
• Participating in MRB process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

Experience required:

• Surface mount, PTH, PCBA cleaning, and conformal coating
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Aerospace & Defence experience (desirable)
