About the Opportunity:

Due to internal promotion, we have a new opportunity for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our Electronics Manufacturing business unit based at Edinburgh Parks, SA. You will provide engineering expertise for electronic products used by our defence customers. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical support for electronic products and processes on production build lines.
  2. Supporting investigations into non-compliance and test failures, including root cause analysis.
  3. Offering technical input during design and development activities.
  4. Assessing, selecting, and implementing new capital equipment as a product and manufacturing process SME.
  5. Participating in APQP activities and providing technical reviews.
  6. Investigating and resolving safety, product safety, and environmental issues.
  7. Supporting qualification testing for new designs.
  8. Participating in DFM and DFT reviews, providing feedback to design teams.
  9. Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives like Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM.
  10. Supporting the transition of NPI and product launch from pilot to full rate production.

About You:

You should have a background in electronics manufacturing or engineering, a degree in Electronics Engineering or related field, and practical experience with SMT, assembly, RF. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment are essential. We encourage candidates who may not meet all criteria to still apply, as potential is valued.
