Job summary

A leading design and manufacturing company in Bristol is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves overseeing the development of electronic assemblies and managing manufacturability and costs, particularly for the Defence and Aerospace sectors. Ideal candidates will have a background in Lean Manufacturing and electronics production.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface mount, PTH, PCBA cleaning, and conformal coating.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Aerospace & Defence experience is desirable.

Job Description:

My client is a leading design and manufacturing company specializing in power supplies and electronics systems for the Defence and Aerospace industries. They are seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Bristol.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing development and first-build of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Supporting engineering with manufacturability of new designs and technology development
• Managing product costs from development through production
• Participating in MRB process, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Experience with surface mount, PTH, PCBA cleaning, and conformal coating
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Aerospace & Defence experience (desirable)
